The Carmen Thyssen Space began to take down the exhibition Nature in evolution. From Van Goyen to Pissarro and Sacharoff on October 15th, 2018. The art specialists from the Thyssen Museum in Madrid, Montse Barniol, the technical manager of the rooms and Pilar Giró, the curator of the exhibition, supervised the fifty paintings of the exhibition. The paintings have already come back to the Carmen Thyssen Museum in Málaga and to the Thyssen Museum in Madrid. L’Atelier-Pepa Poch has also been taken down at the Espai Viu (on the 4th floor of the Monastery), which was visited by 5.000 people.
The 7th exhibition at the Carmen Thyssen Space (visited by 20.000 people) and the good welcome of the Espai Viu result in an excellent summer season at the Monastery.
Nature in evolution. From Van Goyen to Pissarro and Sacharoff has also been visited by members of the UDG, cultural managers, Museum directors, and members from the UOC and other centres interested in culture and tourism (professional, manager schools...). These groups are good advisers for the future Thyssen Museum in Sant Feliu de Guíxols, a project that is expected to come to light in 2020.
