Until October 15th An ideal world, from Van Gogh to Gauguin and Vasarely invites you to visit Iconoplàstia, the sculpture exhibition by Gerard Mas (Sant Feliu de Guíxols, 1976). There you can find a selection of works of different themes and different periods of his career, which are based on an ironic subversion and a transgression of the reality. Iconoplàstia (on the 4th floor of the Monastery) is a good chance to discover or find again the works of this outstanding sculptor, who shows us how the irony is polished from alabaster or wood. The public is encouraged to talk with the astonishment that is caused from his smart way to distort established standards. It is about classic beauty with popular attitudes.
